These questions are often asked, but are more easily and accurately answered if you just go to a dealer, make a phone call or check a manufacturer website.
Examples.
1. “How much does a (insert year, make, model) motorcycle cost?”
…..gee, check a manufacturer website for the price or even better, ask your local dealer or wherever you plan to buy it, because that it the price you will pay.
2. I am 5’9″ 170 lbs, will I fit on a (insert year, make, model) motorcycle?”
….again, go to a dealer and sit on the motorcycle yourself. Why are you asking someone else about what you personally feel comfortable on?
3. “How much is the insurance on a (insert year, make, model) motorcycle?”,
….Why can’t you pick up a phone and call the insurance company for an accurate quote? No one pays the same insurance even on the same model motorcycle in the same neighborhood with the same insurance company. There are so many factors from age, driving record, other vehicles or homes insured that may give you a discount, and most importantlly how much coverage you want on your motorcycle. Some guy can say he’s paying only $ 200/yr on a 2009 GSXR, but what he may not tell you is that he only the lowest liabilty coverage there is, where full coverage could run you in the thousands of dollars.
I am just wondering why people don’t choose the most obvious source for a more accurate answer.
